QUESTION: HOW TO FIGURE OUT WHAT MODEL RUGER REVOLVER YOU HAVE?

 1953-62 Ruger Single Six Revolver.  Reffered to as the ‘Three Screw Model’  . The  Inside of frame  is marked “Alcoa” and “XR3”. Also Ruger .357 & .44 Flat top Blackhawks.  This model uses our: G77, C63, C63ES, C64, CB63, &   RJBH60.

1962-72 Ruger “ XR3-RED” &  “Alcoca” inside of frame. Single Six, Super Single Six,  Blackhawk,  Hawkeye & Old Army. Uses S47, C49, C49F, C50, C51, C53, C53, C54, C55, C60, J50, RJBH50, PPW50, PPB50, WC50

1972-2004 Ruger Vaquero,  XR3-RED.  Single Six, Super Single Six, Blackhawk &   XR3-RED, XRN-3RED, 4 5/8” &   5 ½”  Blackhawk.    Not Super Blackhawk.   Uses same as above.

2005- New Model  Vaquero 2005 XR3 was introduced in 2005. At that time a safety lock was placed on the coil mainspring.  The safety lock was discontinued @ 2009. None of our grips will fit any of the Stainless Steel  Revolvers.  The Ruger New Model 2005 XR3  uses:  C150, C150BS, C150ES,C150SE, C151, C152, C154, C155, C156, C157, PPW150, S150, J150, JBH150, WC150, KCR150 & RI150
